  • Every time I've been in Larry's shop, I've always had a great time. I had Larry set up my telecaster back in the Fall and it was the best set up I've ever had. The only downside is that you have to wait 2-3 weeks for the set up to be complete. But that's fine with me if it's done right! And trust me, it WAS done right. A week ago, I took in a bass I bought off Craigslist. It was in pretty terrible shape. It was fretting out, the action was too high, it didn't have the original knobs, etc... One of their luthiers, Mike, said he would take care of it all for me. Surprisingly the bass set up was only a few days. I go in and first thing is see is that Mike replaced the knobs back to stock Jazz bass knobs! He told me it was on him. I was so surprised! But what even surprised me more was how great Mike made it sound. He really knows how to set up a bass guitar! Thanks Out on a String! Adam
