My dinner group met here because this place has been recommended to me as one of the best Japanese steakhouses in Charlotte and I had to see the sushi boats for myself.
I arrived early and sat at the bar. The bartender and hostess staff is quite helpful.
Our group was seated at one of the hibachi grills. Our server was nice but she was a bit slow and a bit off with some of orders but I think she corrected all but one issue.
Your meal comes with soup, salad and then your entree which is cooked in stages. Everyone gets 2 pieces of shrimp to start off. Then you get your veggies and rice, and then the proteins. The hibachi chef puts on a great show for you from balancing and egg on his spatula to creating a fire in front of you.
The food was great and it's worth the entertainment you receive. On my next visit I want to try the sushi bar where there are boats that circle a bar where you can select your sushi. Sounds like fun.
