This place was wonderful!! There were only two of us at 4:30 on a Monday afternoon. We got seated promptly in the dining room. The host stated it was the best place to sit if we were wanting to talk.
Our waiter was amazing and very knowledgeable. He was able to answer all of our wine and food questions.
We started with some glasses of wine. I had the Riesling and it did not disappoint. My aunt had the Malbec and said it was great. I finished the evening with Quinta de Aveleda Vinho Verde and I regret not getting this first. This wine may be a new favorite.
We decided to order a few different plates. I ordered the humus and atun. Both were amazing!! The humus was very smooth and rich and the pita that it comes with was out of this world. I don't think a description of the atun would do it justice. It was just wonderful. Very flavorful and the pickled cucumbers and spicy guacamole it was served with was a great pairing.
My aunt ordered the hongos and camaron. I do not like mushrooms but I thought I would try the hongos. I loved them. I don't know what they did to them, but the sauce they are served with really compliments it well. The camaron had a nice little kick to it, not spicy just a nice kick.
Overall I had a wonderful experience for my first time here. I would highly recommend trying this place out. I will certainly be back.
