Halloween night and my friend wants to meet up with another friend at Tiger Bar. What is Tiger Bar? It's a very not fun dance party in the basement of the Crown and Tiger that plays bad music, yells at its patrons, and is so not that cool that in my two years at UofT and living down the street from Tiger Bar, I had never heard of it.
Even if it is Halloween, being told that my American ID would not be accepted is never pleasant. What am I supposed to do, huh? I already showed you my American credit cards, foreign student health card, and offered to sing a song listing all 50 states in alphabetical order. What else could I do? Really?
Downstairs, I asked if they take requests for music. I was told "No" and then asked what my request was. Then it was a flat out "NO." Thanks, guys. Your party still sucks.
The patrons were not my cup of tea (When the girls in the sexually amplified ensembles rush the costume contest, it is my cue to leave) and the drinks were expensive. Five bucks for Canadian? Forget it.
