My husband came to vegas 5 years ago and literally has not stopped talking about the pop rocks sushi, so when we came this past June for our 2nd wedding anniversary, it was the first place on our list. We ate here before seeing O and waited for about 20 minutes for it to open. We didn't make reservations so I'm a bit confused about how that part works because they wouldn't let us sit inside, they sat us at the "lounge" area facing the casino (which was honestly a view in itself, best people watching of my life!) but it didn't deter us. We tried the seaweed salad, which had kale and for the first time in my life I didn't spit the kale out. The cocktails were too expensive for me to try ($20 PER DRINK!) but my husband got a blood orange Grey Goose drink off the cocktail menu that was okay but not worth the price. I digress, for dinner my husband got two sushi rolls (pop rocks was one of them, obviously) and yes it was phenomenal...but the show stealer was my beef short rib. Holy expletive. On the down side, I will never again in my life be able to eat short rib because nothing else will come close to this. Upside? I ATE A MEAT CLOUD! I literally cut it with my effing chopsticks, that's how perfectly cooked it was. I have a video to prove it. It was the best tasting thing I might have ever had in my life and that is not an overstatement for once. It was so beautiful I might cry just reliving the experience while I write this. MEAT CLOUD! CHOPSTICKS! GO NOW!
