Worst check in service experience ever. Long line and rude service provided by "Scott" who laughed when he made a financial error and when I asked how long a pre-authorization would remain on my debit card, without ever actually answering. My friend called ahead to assure an easy check in experience, reminding them they had his credit card on file. After searching for the manager multiple times she finally came up and explained they couldn't use a credit card on file because they are a "swipe" hotel and do things different than other Hiltons, despite being a diamond member. After check in I had to search for the room without any direction. So far the sink is nearly impossible to turn on and off quietly, I'm not sure if it's the handles or the crust under them. The wi-fi is terrible and goes in and out. The Starbucks in the lobby is staffed by wonderful people but is double the cost. The room itself is nice, but no better than a hard rock casino room. I would expect more from a Hilton and would not associate with a manager who never introduced herself by name, refuses to answer questions and says we are only technically a Hilton because we fall under an umbrella so we don't follow all of their policies. Although she was willing to give her card "Firouz Elmostehi" appears to have only gotten a manager position based on what ever she was doing to upper management in the 15+ minutes it took for the associate to return.
