$20 to fix a small hole in the tire once they realized I wasn't going to buy a new one. My little mom and pop tire place would have just fixed the flat, no up sell and charge me $15.
I guess they used some new plug system instead of patching it "old school." My instinct tells me this is a convenience to them vs a better service to me. I'll have to look into that.
(After looking into it a little I think they did a "plug patch" which is a premium way to go. So hats off for that part of the deal.)
I also don't like being asked for a bunch of personal info when I am just getting a flat fixed. I'm not applying for a job or a loan! Just my first name and my money should be adequate.
The one hour wait was also pretty lame. I hate corporate and love little places. The only reason they even get 3 stars is because they were close to where my flat trailer tire occured- unlike the mom and pop. So thanks for being conveniently located and slow and slightly expensive. Try firing some middle managers so you can improve your Yelp reviews.
