  • Went and checked out the great Canadian sport. I was in a group of 6 and with our two hour rink rental we got a lady to show us how to curl. She took the time to explain everything very clearly and let us try various tricks. I was not a very good curler since I have only curled once in high school and I had trouble getting the rock over the required line. But it was quite fun and I recommend Leaside Curling Club to anyone that wants to give this sport a try. It's best to go with 8 people to minimize the cost per person. With 6 people, for two hours and a lesson, the cost was 24.50 per person.
