I took my husband here for his birthday. We were really excited to finally be able to try it since we had heard good reviews. Unfortunately we did not feel the same way. The Gumbo reminded me of the beef gravy you get in a jar at the grocery store with 2 tiny shrimp thrown in. No chicken or sausage to be found. My husband had the jambalaya with chicken and shrimp. It was mush. There were 3 shrimp and again we were hard pressed to find any chicken. Needless to say we both left without eating very much On a positive my husband did say he really liked their house made whisky and my sweet T was good. My husband is now requesting a do over on his birthday dinner at somewhere he might actually enjoy.
