  • I donate blood a few times a year - sometimes at this location, sometimes at a mobile blood drive. When convenient, I prefer to come here. I have small veins that can be really hard to find and hit on the first try, but the technicians here do a great job of making me comfortable and getting the sticking done as quickly as possible. Before going, go online and make an appointment to donate. That way you will avoid an unnecessary wait. When you receive the Rapid Pass e-mail the day you are going to donate - do it. It saves time. Drink LOTS of water that day - my donation goes much faster if I'm well-hydrated. Be sure you have had a decent meal before going in - you don't want to be light-headed and then donate blood.
