I would come to Tapas Papa Fritas if I were staying within walking distance in Old Town and really craving tapas, but I would not make a special trip out here. The menu is huge, with plenty of options for vegetarians or for carnivores, but the tapas we ordered were hit and miss. None really blew me away. The most memorable part of the dinner for me was the garlic sauce that came with the bread - I could pour that on everything and not get bored! The sangrias (tried both red and white) were mediocre as was the flan, which was spongey and overlooked. Overall, food was just okay, but not worth what you pay. This might be a decent location for a larger company event, since the dining room is fairly large, but it's not a place I would come for a date or a smaller gathering of friends.
