A novel but definitely delicious way to enjoy ice cream. Your artisan starts with your choice of additions, in our case avocados! The avocado is flat pressed and chopped on the frozen metal plate as the "house cream" is added in and allowed to churn into ice cream. The flattened concoction is then scraped off the cold table into rolls and then neatly stacked vertically into your cup and topped off with whipped cream and garnish. The resulting ice cream is light and refreshingly creamy and not overly sweet. A definite treat especially now that the warmer weather is rolling in--pun intended.
PS. Lines can look intimidatingly long but don't get put off by it as the entire staff is quick and gets through the crowd fairly efficiently. And on that note, do tip your hard-working artisans as the rolled ice cream process is physically taxing and takes real patience and care to create perfectly for your enjoyment.
