| - I had a horrible experience from this hotel solely from this one mistake that snowballed into a horrible night. My boyfriend and our two friends stayed at the Wyndham for a concert that my friend and I were attending while the boys went to the casino. I put the room under my name because everyone else pitched in in other ways; buying the concert ticket, driving and paying for gas, or paying for dinner. After checking in and getting ready, we go to leave for the concert and as soon as we get to the arena, I get an alert from my bank saying that I over drafted, which should be impossible because I had over $200 in my bank. I check my app, the Wyndham, after charging my $155 for my room, charged an additional $220 to my card. I'm furious. I have no money to spend at the concert and we were meeting the boys at the casino afterwards for drinks. I now have no money for drinks at the concert, cab rides, casino money, or money for drinks after the concert. We had to go back to the hotel after the concert instead of going out, so I could figure out what was going on. It was late, almost midnight. I explaining what happened at the front desk, he said that I was charged for a larger room for tonight as well as the room I'm currently staying in, then paused and said "I think". I was confused because I only got one room so there was no need for them to even think to charge me for another room, let alone a larger one?? It didn't make any sense and the man at the front desk said there was nothing he can do except wait until his manager comes in at 6 am. So I was obviously upset, I have no money for the rest of the night and they can't even tell me a definite reason why. We leave and meet them at the casino, my boyfriend pays for all of my drinks and food, thankfully. By the time we get back, I can't even sleep because I'm so mad and upset over this. I wait until 6 am and go down to the lobby to talk to the manager. She looks at my bill and explains that the man that worked last night, the man that said he "thinks" I got charged with another room, charged me with another room. Sweet, at least we figured out why, but now I'm left with a $35 over draft fee AND SHE TELLS ME THE MONEY WONT BE BACK IN MY BANK FOR 3 BUSINESS DAYS. is this a joke. So not only do I get an over draft fee for today, but also tomorrow and the next day. So I lost it and flipped out, which I never do. She tells me that she can call my bank and sort it out with them, which should have been done in the first place! They fix the over draft fees and send me on my way. That's all. No discounted room for leaving me in the city with no money and then no money for gas to get home the next day. Nothing. I will literally never go back.
