I really wanted to like this show. David Goldrake as a magician is quite charismatic and entertaining. Despite how impressive the set of tricks and misdirections were, I found myself wanting more. Many of the tricks were very traditional such as the woman getting sawed in half, escape from the water tank, guessing what the audience is thinking, and the numerous disappearing acts. That isn't to say that I didn't enjoy them. I just needed something very original, something that I haven't seen before to wow me. I didn't quite get that, but overall, still an impressive show. His stage crew are just as talented with their physical feats of strength and flexibility. In addition, David Goldrake, quite possibly might be the most jacked magician I've ever seen.
