| - So my first experience at Monzer was fabulous. The second? Not so much. For one thing, Abigail is gone. Well, they assured me the owner himself would be doing my hair, so I thought it would be great. I had it colored as well. I have a lot of hair and a lot of gray, but after my great experience with Abigail there I felt confident enough to go for color.
What a mistake. It took a very long time to get my hair done, during which there were some positives - like espresso and good conversation. But I told him I really wanted side bangs again, and he didn't give them to me. By the time I realized it, I'd been in the salon for almost 2 hours, and I really just wanted to leave, so I thought, eh, I'll just go with this cut for a while. Later that night I brushed out my hair only to find several gray patches he had completely missed coloring. Because my hair was curly when I left the salon, I hadn't noticed them. Also, the color used was a little...faded. Not a good vibrant strong color, but more like what I'd expect the ends of my hair to look like 3 weeks after a dye job.
I'm afraid to go back, at this stage. Maybe just for a cut, but definitely not color. If anyone knows where Abigail went, do tell!!
