I'll be honest I've never been on the Greyhound and I probably won't, not because of the reviews they got or how "sketchy" the terminal is, but because I can either fly or drive to my destination.
If I ever go to the Greyhound it is usually picking/dropping my brother since he lives in Edmonton for school and rarely I'll pick up/drop off my mom if she doesn't want to fly to Vancouver.
What I find odd is that they'll make you wait in their terminal 30-60 minutes before your boarding time to do what? They won't check your luggage until it's 15 minutes to the boarding time.
Be warn seniors don't give two sh*** about bag checks because they just wait besides their gate and stand when it's boarding time. Feel free to tell the Garda guard that seniors are cutting and I swear they will lecture or yell at you about how they're old and it is "too far" to walk to the bag check location and back to the gate.
Would I recommend the Greyhound? I'm not sure since I've never rode in one but since it's dirt cheap to get around Canada versus flying then sure why not.
