  • My boyfriend bought a pair of steel toe Docs for work in April, by July they had split completely apart. He brought them in to see if they would exchange them. After a month they really don't have to do anything. The manager, Chuck? Dave? Names elude me sorry, offered like 50% off another pair of boots. But my guy insisted they make it right. So they did. They exchanged his boots straight across and ate the loss. Fast forward barely two months later the other pair of Docs do the same thing! So we went back in to The Barn and told them what was up. They agreed to exchange them yet again. Clearly there is a defect with the Docs. So he replaced the Docs with a better more expensive brand and only had to pay the difference. Needless to say, they didn't have to do ANY of this stuff for us. But they did. The people at this store went above and beyond to assist us both times. Because of this excellent experience I highly recommend this place as far as work boots goes. We're customers for life now and won't be shopping anywhere else for steel toes. Great job!
