| - Food Allergies Beware! I would have posted this review much sooner after eating there, but it took me a while to get around to it. Why you ask? Because I had a severe allergic reaction from not one, not two, but three different dishes that I was told would be fine for me. I have a severe tomato allergy. I know, I know. It's not the best idea to go to a Mexican place when you have tomato allergies but my wife loves Mexican so I went. We opted to go for several appetizers instead of entrees so we could have a little bit of everything. We chose a chicken quesadilla, chicken nachos, and shrimp tacos. I told the waitress I was allergic to tomatoes and asked if tomatoes were in any of the items. She replied no. When the food came out of the kitchen it looked great. I bit into the quesadilla and BAM! tomatoes! We promptly sent it back to be remade. Then I bit into the shrimp taco, and you guessed it. Tomato! Finally, the nachos also had tomatoes on top. When the waitress returned, I was informed that they cannot make a chicken quesadilla (or nachos) without tomatoes because they are actually cooked in tomatoes. The shrimp was also cooked in tomatoes. I was in the process of having an allergic reaction. I could barely speak, I couldn't breathe, and I was experiencing a massive headache. We just asked for the check and left. When the check arrived, of course, the waitress billed us for everything that I couldn't possibly eat because she was too inept at her job to learn the menu, or even ask a chef about specific allergies. I'm not a big fan of being ensured three different times that I can eat something, it arriving completely full of what I'm allergic to, then being expected to pay for it. If you have any allergies to anything, don't go here.
