  • My husband & I and another couple just got back from staying at this hotel for 3 nights during the NFR. We had stayed there last December and had a great time but this year was a terrible experience. On Saturday we left to go shopping at Cowboy Christmas when we had returned I noticed my glass filled with Fuji water by my bedside table(which I was charged $10 for) was missing...didnt think much of it....we left in the evening for dinner and gambling...when we had returned to our room around 2am... I went to take my shoes off to put in my closet I felt something get stuck in the bottom of my foot. I used my other foot to pop it out and felt my foot cut across the top. This is when I realized it was a broken piece of GLASS! My husband immediately called the front desk and they sent security up. When they arrived their medical bag was ridiculous. It was not supplied with bandaids or gauge.... nothing. The employee gave me bigger bandaids he had brought from home because he said they are not supplied with bigger bandaids ....he tried to do as best as he could to cover my cut with what he had. He also had no antibiotic cream just alcohol wipes. I was shocked with such a beautiful hotel how could their staff be so lacking in supplies for an emergency? While the security was in my room they also found more pieces of glass throughout my room. I had explained to the staff that I had noticed my glass missing earlier and that housekeeping had obviously broken the glass and didn't pick up everything. When I went to check out Of my room I was shocked that they refused to comp any of my stay (which was over $2000 for 2 rooms) nor reimburse me for bandaids & neosporin I had purchased at the drugstore in the hotel to get me thru until I went home. I did receive a call though from customer relations the following day following up on my injury and was told they would only waive $39 daily resort fee and medical supplies but only after I sign a waiver and pay to get it notarized. Wow now that's some customer service! I was floored by the way they treat their guests. I will NEVER stay here again! They do not even deserve 1 star!
