  • This is a coffee stand, first on the right as you enter the market from W25th. This was great local coffee made with good, basic technique and attention to correct detail. They also sell beans in either 1-pound or half-pound bags. When a barista makes latte with art on it, it might not necessarily reflect the quality of the beans or the brew, but it somehow shows that they care about what they do! That said, the beans are all freshly ground and quality of the espresso is excellent. Now strong coffee does not mean bitter or burned coffee, like Starbucks is frequently guilty of. They do it right over here. The latte (with heart art) that I had was delicious. On a trip to WSM, I'd probably stop here first, then leisurely stroll the market with that coffee or espresso drink in hand to set the pace of your beautiful day.
