  • Let me start out by saying I'm a big supporter of small businesses owners. And so I really hate to say something negative, but Pro Blind Repair, you really fell short with your customer service. Several months ago we purchased a home in Scottsdale and found out that one of the remote blinds didn't work. We learned that the previous homeowner had just had it repaired (motor replaced) by Pro Blinds and so we called Michael, the owner of Pro Blind Repair. He comes out and tells us the batteries were bad, so we replaced the 8 AA's and bingo! It worked, so I felt foolish. We then even hired him to clean all of our blinds. A week later, the blind does not rise, so we call Michael again. After several days, he finally returns my call and then comes out and has me replace the 8 AA's again and bam, it works. He said I must have used old batteries (just bought that pack BTW). Same thing happened again three days later, but I wasn't going to buy the "old battery story". At this point, we determine that he must have installed a faulty motor at the initial repair and that it was rapidly draining the batteries. We came to this conclusion because we have two other remote blinds that we open/close several times a day for the past 3 months and they work fine - no batteries replaced. But after numerous futile attempts to have Michael return my calls and Text messages to replace the motor, I eventually gave up. So now we have a shade that won't go up, even though it was under warranty and should have lasted at least 30 days - I might add that we rarely opened that shade so we weren't initially aware that it wasn't working. Not sure how long this business will last if that's how they treat all of their customers.
