  • I wish this place was not as out of the way for us as it is. Or maybe, it is a good thing as I would be tempted to check out this cheese and wine shop far too often. We were super excited to notice a sweet lab-mix dog sleeping on a big pillow behind the register. We then chatted with the owner about dogs for a minute while petting that sweet shop dog. Touches like that make this a role model for other small businesses. The owner also made some recommendations without being pushy or hovering. She let us explore but was accessible for questions. It is a very fine line and it seems that this place does it very well. She made an excellent recommendation for a semi-soft Italian cheese that we really enjoyed later that evening. We knew we were going to enjoy it because she also let us sample it before we purchased it. Nicely organized and super clean. There is a lot of care put into this place and it shows.
