  • How could anyone give this place less than 5 stars? I have had numerous experiences here and from food to service to ambiance and price, this place has stole a little piece of my foodie heart. Not that it surprises me that a Kerry Simon place would win me over. I mean, the staff has to wear rock & roll t-shirts. Would you expect anything less? My first experience was on a busy Friday night, and we sat upstairs at the patio bar. My second trip, I came right at the start of business, and was lucky enough to get a seat at the open kitchen aka Chef's table. If you know me, you know that is my favorite place to sit. I love watching the kitchen staff interact. I love watching the food be made right before your eyes. Also, in this particular kitchen, I really love the passion of the staff. It was clear they wanted everything perfect before leaving that kitchen. So far I have indulged in: devil's eggs, corn succotash, baked mac and cheese, gyro tacos, watermelon salad, a butter burger, a sloppy joe, and some bread pudding. I would order every one of those items again. And let me point out, I never ordered the tacos to begin with. My daughter and I were dinging together one day, and they were sent out compliments of the Chef. Total score. We devoured them, and still ordered our entrees and appetizer. I plan on trying the chicken skins, bacon jam, and killer shrimp on my next visit. I don't know why it took me so long to get to this place, but I am glad I finally checked it out. Perfect addition to downtown Vegas!
