  • Solid selection of vegetarian and vegan items at an American BBQ and grill style restaurant. Items are very clearly marked for veg or vegan, making selection easy. The veg dishes are mostly seitan, tofu, or vegetable/portabella based. In the warmer months it is lovely to sit out on the patio to enjoy your meal and relax. The patio is very dog-friendly and many patrons bring their favorite pals along with them, leaving trails of "oohs" and "aaws" from other restaurant-goers. Service is typically quick, friendly, and knowledgeable of the menu-items. Double Wide is a good selection for a quick lunch or dinner for what you expect at a sit-down restaurant. Drawbacks for the vegetarian items are that they seem to be out of stock of items on a somewhat regular basis.
