We came to check out the Tudor North Flag. I was going to buy it if it looked good on my wrist. We dealt with cold weather and dense traffic on the strip during the holidays to drive to Caesars Forum Shop specifically to visit Tourneau to buy a watch... only to get snubbed by their lame sales staff.
I guess I didn't pass their sniff test as a "qualified buyer" or look like I'm "capable" to purchase in their eyes since we were standing in front of the Tudor watch case looking stupid as three associates walked by without greeting us and they huddled in a group amongst themselves probably hoping for us to leave, given their sneaky glances towards us.
Maybe my sweater from Target didn't ooze $$$$$? Would I have been acknowledged if my Tudor's Coronet Cousin wasn't covered by my sleeve? I ALWAYS dress down when I go buy watches. Im not there to impress you or beg for help. I walked in with a smile and left with a frown.
Is Tourneau in Bizzaro World where Tourneau's salespeople are paid a commission based on how many sales they don't make?
Soooooooo we left the store, went to another AD, and WAS offered help. Ass-kissing commenced when the salesman saw my watch when I rolled up my sleeve to try on the Tudor, but that was expected. I wore the Tudor and bought it on the spot. Transaction took less than 10 minutes.
Thanks for wasting MY time Tourneau!
