There are very few good memories of too long spent in AZ--caught in the real estate crash--but this restaurant is one of them. Over a decade, Roberto and his team offered a broad menu with daily specials that consistently were high quality in a desert environment where shellfish and raw food items are both risky and expensive. It was the ONLY Italian restaurant I visited who did not overcook the pasta, and had enough sense to offer 3 specials at lunch and 5 at dinner, a smart move for any restaurant that wants to maintain a steady clientele.
