Vieng's greatest weakness is the uncaring hostesses who make you feel like you committed a sin by choosing Vieng's to dine at. A few of their young wait staff are equally as bad. I have dined at Vieng's several times in hopes that they will do better in service quality the next time, my recent experience on New Year's day at this location has finally sealed my opinion that unless they change their service quality its not worth visiting this location. The hostesses are completely inattentive to the patrons and at times do not even greet or acknowledge them upon arrival at their podium. They are much more interested in talking amongst themselves on inside jokes and texting on their phones. While seating us, the particular hostess literally pushed me while clearing some of the table setting that we would not have needed. There was no apology. The service staff although try to look sharp, utterly fail in attention to customer needs and are never around when needed. The food (sushi included) are at best decent and completely overpriced for the quality.
