  • I have taken my Yorkie put to this PetSmart for years. I have always been pleased with the care they have provided. Unfortunately this facility has gone downhill fast. The last few times he has stayed there he has come back smelling horriblly. Most recently his stay could have been tragic! My pup has a seizure condition which they are very aware of. It's listed on their computer and I make sure to tell them everytime I drop him off. He stayed for two nights recently. When I came to pick him up the associate asked me if was typical for him to be unsteady on his feet. He was actually having a seizure because they had forgotten to give him his daily medication! Thank God Banfield Hospital is right in their store. They checked his vitals and thank goodness he was fine. He stopped seizing shortly thereafter. He smelled like pee so I can only imagine that he was having seizures during his stay. Sometimes they loose their faculties while having them. On another recent occasion, my husband went to pick him up and was given another dog! Needless to say, my pup won't be staying there anymore.
