China Chili serves up good food, better than PF Changes and less expensive. I have been there several times and the food and service have always been consistent. Some Yelpers have complained about the interior, and while I agree that it is not the "Starbucks corporate America standard", I think it is very nice for a semi-authentic Chinese food joint, a much better décor than that of Gourmet House of Hong Kong, which offers up better and more authentic Chinese food in a less than appetizing atmosphere. (GHHK used to be painted pepto pink, but I think they have upgraded to sea foam green).
I really like the sizzling rice soup, it's a nice change from the standards, but the wonton soup is good, and the hot and sour soup is average. The shrimp/prawn and chicken dishes are tasty, but have been Americanized. The live seafood options and duck are much more authentic.
