Wednesday Night // cheap wings // hockey and world series game on tv.

This place isn't much. Yes, the servers do give good service (such as, [get this] THANKING YOU) and it's not because of how they dress.
But it's just another lost sports bar in a lost culinary 'scene'. Drinks are over priced; $6 for a "pint" of Canadian served in a big rock glass that IS NOT a pint. TVs on the wall. Wings are dry and taste like the no-name brand wings that the sysco dealer gave a huge discount on because every other food product they buy is from them.
Good god, if I ran a pub, I'd put my heart and soul into sourcing good ingredients and beverages that are unique to our region (or at minimum, the region of the concept you are attempting to mimick, which, in Beckham's case, is nothing). You know, I'd set myself apart from other places because homogeneity is both a bad cultural/culinary decision but also a bad business decision. But Calgarians just keep eating places like this up. I just don't get it.
