I'm quite picky about my Asian fusion experiences and Plum did not make the cut. Came here to get something to go on a weekday.
Ambiance: 4/5
Though I didn't sit down to eat my lunch (as I had it to go), the ambiance inside seemed upscale. The hostess was courteous and the pick-up process was smooth.
Food: 3/5
I ordered a Una Don to go, which ended up being around $20 post-tax. The lunch menu included a miso soup. The dish itself had three gyoza, a measly portion of sushi rice, and six pieces of eel. The texture of two of my six eel pieces was too fatty for my liking, though the other four pieces were fine. The sushi rice portion was about the size of half an apple... which was really quite too small for a meal. The gyoza were not memorable. Both the gyoza and the una don were too salty, in my opinion. The miso soup was decent.
I'd probably not come back again unless I'm craving for sushi and am too lazy to go somewhere farther for it.
