Lakeview Dental does not keep its word. I had a root canal thru my gums. Dr. John Duong was the specialist my insurance sent me too. I paid $725 on my first visit. He finished the work the second visit. Total dentist time was 2 hours. He asked if I would like him to fill in the hole which is paid as a filling instead of going to my regular dentist. He gave me a $$ amount for me to pay and said his office would reimburse me the difference between this charge and my co-pay. On good faith I said sure. After 2 calls within 3 months to the office they said they submitted the paperwork. My insurance company said no. After 5 months I get a notice from my insurance that they did not pay because Dr. Duong's office did not give them the necessary info needed for payment. Dr. Duong's office said they were writing off the balance and not returning me the difference between their charge and my copayment. The difference due me is not going to make or break the bank it is the promise of reimbursement and good faith that I have a problem with. Plus this was after paying him $70 just to tell me what I needed. This is no way to run a business or get any future references. On a good note the dental hygienist was very nice and friendly .Too bad she works for people with bad business practices.
