As a retiree of AT&T I am shocked and quite frankly embarrassed by the horrible customer service of DTV. Good luck to you if you happen to end up talking to the call center in Pennsylvania. Andy, senior on site manager, in Pennsylvania was condescending and most unhelpful. He didn't even try to help even though DTV had given me erroneous information and made several mistakes with my service order. No flexibility, No escalation process in place, no ability to arrange for call ahead or to receive a callback the next day from anyone in the state where you actually live, for me it's Arizona. Andy said I was entitled to my opinion on the matter but that was the protocol and if dissatisfied I could notify the Better Business Bureau. Seriously? In such a highly competitive business, their lack of concern for their customers encountering a problem is sorely lacking. I did not feel valued as a customer.
Shame on AT&T for allowing such poor representation of their name.
Bottom line...I am stuck with DTV until my 2 year contract expires. I won't sign up again. Cox is much more flexible and their customer service reps are far superior to DTV.
