  • Like most others I have watched the show off and on the past few years so I decided to check out the pawn shop in person. As we pulled up we saw a line that seemed a block long if not longer. I was about to bail but my friend was set on checking out the place so we waited and waited for over an hour before we finally got in. The shop is a lot smaller than you would think and everything is extremely overpriced. Seems like they charge a lot more than they claim their mark up is. For example the bald dude will offer 20k and claim he can sell it for 25 - 30k, so he has to make a few bucks. Well, truth is he will probably be asking more like 50k if not more. Half of the store is a gift shop with t-shirts etc... Would I ever visit this place again. No. It is the type of place you want to visit once and never hit up again.
