  • Worst shoe repair experience ever! I gave them 4 pairs to restore/reheel/resole, etc, including one pair, light coloured, needed cleaning which they said they would achieve by re-dyeing. Required to prepay in full. Told me they'd be ready Monday. I gave them til Tuesday. Only one pair completed. I went back a couple days later to see that they had "re-dyed" my lovely "bone coloured" shoes .... PINK! And didn't even do it well -- left un-dyed spots! When I exclaimed my dissatisfaction, the guy at the counter told me I'd have to take it up with the manager/owner, who was not available. No apology, no reassurance, nothing. When I phoned and reached the manager, he told me they had made a mistake and dyed the wrong pair. Told me my colour would be restored. In another day or two. I now have my shoes, they are a different shade, and the job has "blemishes". The new heels/lifts were not well done: black heels on brown shoes, uneven finishes, etc. So 3 return visits required to pick up work, which was poor quality. Unpleasant experience. Will NOT return there.
