*sigh* I really wanted to love this place. Really. The food is decent. The beef empanadas were really good. That sauce that's so talked about (chimi) is worthy of taking a bottle home for dipping on garlic bread and putting it on just about everything! But that's where the good time stopped for us. I'm not one to put down a place just because the wait time is crazy long as long as the wait is worth it...but this just didn't ever feel worth it to us. The restaurant was so loud I could barely speak to my boyfriend. Everyone is kinda crammed together but there's no real "friendly" atmosphere here. It's very disjointed and chaotic. We got there on what seemed like a rather "slow" night and still waited a good hour to order and sit. Like I said, the food was just MEH...(those beef empanandas I would have totally taken 12 of those home with me and been content, though...with the chimi sauce). I had the pork, boyfriend had the steak burger. The bread was burnt to almost unrecognizable consistency and I've honestly had pork just as good, if not better in other places. If I were you, I'd skip the hype, stop waiting outside for hours in all kinds of weather, and go find another of the million great places to eat in Pittsburgh.
