  • Now before you wonder why am I reviewing Main Street Station, and certainly why am I giving it five stars? Well I will say it's an incredibly cool "step back in time" casino/hotel! Rich dark wood everywhere, old tile that spells out words in different locations, and an ambiance that takes you back to a cool period in time! But that's not what this is about..... Just off the main floor, first set of restrooms, in the men's restroom, is a piece of Cold War history. The urinals are mounted to the wall, the Berlin Wall! I remember my first time seeing it years ago I was in disbelief until I went in to see it for myself. When the wall fell, large chunks were taken to different spots around the world and are in some unique areas. The U.N. Building in NYC has a huge piece outside on the grounds. This spot is perhaps the most unique, and to this day is still rather unknown considering the amount of visitors that come through Vegas. Before you think that you'll just pee on the wall, it's covered in plexiglass and you'll probably just make a mess of yourself! Ladies, you're NOT out of luck as it's extremely common for you to be able to go in to see it. Just grab any security guard working the casino, be extremely polite, and they'll gladly go in and clear the guys out while you go in for you're photo op! Happens all the time! Sometimes something so cool and historical is just a bit out of sight!
