| - UPDATE: I will update this to 2 stars because after posting my last review, the property manager called me right away and could not have more friendly and apologetic of the situation. He explained that he had since become the new manager and was not aware of this occurrence. He removed the cleaning fees and told me a new balance for my remaining utilities would be sent over. Once again, I waited a couple weeks and never heard from their management company and I had to keep following up for my final bill. It took them about a month to finally send it. Let's just say I will never live anywhere that their property management company is in charge of (Alliance). If the Palladium found another company to align with there probably wouldn't be so many unhappy customers.
Do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY!!! I was a resident here for 2 years and am absolutely appalled at the level of customer service upon move out. I am a workaholic and was really only at the apartment to sleep so I never really had issues while living there which is why I stayed for 2 years.
When I gave my notice to move out, they sent the maintenance guy over to do a walk through to make sure there were no damages, carpets were good, and to let me know if there was anything I would be charged for upon move out. The maintenance guy told me everything looked great, carpet was perfect, and the only thing I might be charged for was for new stove drip pans. I replaced the stove pans and left the apartment spic and span when I left.
Two weeks later I get a bill for almost $300 for carpet cleaning, "pet deodorizer" (in which I didn't own a pet), and an "entire apartment cleaning fee". Umm, WHAT! I immediately called and after 15 PHONE CALLS over a 2 month span they were able to send me pictures of the apartment and take off the carpet cleaning and pet deodorizer since it was CLEAR that there was no evidence of this. They have now left on the $110 cleaning charge in which they sent me a picture of my used oven and said it was dirty!!! $110 to clean an oven that had normal use?
I am a real estate agent and have previously recommended the Palladium to friends/clients because of the location and never having issues with them before. However, I have now been in back and forth communication with the palladium and their management company over a 3 month period and 30+ phone calls and not once has anyone EVER returned my phone call. I even spoke to one of the ladies that works at the Palladium and told her this story and after she pulled up my account she laughed and said "Yeah I see the pictures to be honest I'm not sure why you would be charged for cleaning!" On top of that, I was told I would not be sent to collections because they saw in their notes that I was disputing the charge and then a week letter I got an email notifying me I would be sent to collections. WTF!?
WORD OF ADVICE TO THE PALLADIUM: You do not nickel and dime your loyal customers nor do you add FALSE charges to their statement upon move out! That's a great way to lose business and recommendations!
I am still waiting for an answer from their management company, but since I have never received a call back I'm sure I will have to continue to call another 30 times over the next 3 months.
