| - I'll admit.. My review is going to be slightly biased being that I've listened to her music since the age of seventeen and she's also from Mississippi (like me.. shh).
Oh well.
GREAT SHOW! I went to see Brit at the friends and family event held the night before her grand opening. It was visually fun to watch and the energy from the audience is electric. But, I have to say my favorite part was her choice in music. All of her greatest hits plus some fun, racy ones from her later albums. Expect to dance your buns off (or at least deal with people dancing their buns off). Just don't stand and be in the way, though. A little blonde girl will throw something at you. *You've been warned*
It's a huge venue (one of the largest in the US) so the seats can be rather trying. I'd personally purchase front row tickets next time, but I'm a little over-the-top when it comes to Britney. It would be nice if they included some big screens so that you can see a little more of her. I also wish Britney would dance like she used to.. I'm guessing that old knee injury causes a lot of distress still. Oh, and traffic and lines are INSANEEEEE! The worst I've seen in Vegas. Get there early! If you're not attending the show, steer clear of any side streets near Planet Hollywood. She's so hot right now, her shows tend to clog up the 15/Harmon and the street behind PH. I'd tell you some hidden parking spots, but I don't know you like that, so sorry.. not sorry.
Great show, go see it! Take your girlfriend, it will be a for sure game changer. If you have the funds to get closer to the stage, get at it! This show is also okay for kids, just be cautious of the drunktards. Albeit, they are all over the strip, so it shouldn't be a surprise.
Oh, if you're surprised to see/hear that Britney is lip-syncing.. Well, this isn't the show for you. She's a singer, yes.. but, no Celine Dion. You go for the dancing, fun songs and entertainment. She's famous for being a lip-syncer, so it's funny that people are all up in arms about it. Not always a good thing, but it what it is.
