rev:text	I had a home to sell after moving to another location. My vacant house needed to be fixed, painted and cleaned. I had gotten through the first two steps and had cleaned all but the carpets. My realtor suggested Stanley Steemer because he had had good experiences in the past. I called and scheduled an appointment and they gave me a 3 hour window. I stressed to the scheduler that the house was vacant and I had moved 25 miles away. The scheduler said that they could probably put me first or second for the time period so that I wouldn't have to wait very long. I arrived right on time, but had forgotten that there was nowhere to sit except the steps. Needless to say, I hoped that they would show up quickly so that I didn't end up spending more than half the day on this. Well, as luck would have it, they showed up 2 hours and 45 minutes later. I was so relieved, I just hoped they would be thorough and do a good job. This was not to be. The whole time they were getting ready, they were trying to up sell me on doing the grout on the tile floors too. Once they finally understood that it was only carpet that I wanted they zipped through the job in nothing flat. Four bedrooms, a hallway, and steps were completed in less than 25 minutes and the carpet didn't look all that different. I would never use these guys ever again. I used an online coupon to reduce the charges by $35 dollars and I still paid too much. What a waste of money. If I have to redo the carpets, I'm going elsewhere.
