At first glance it seems like an okay park, lots of space for milling and playing, a pretty nice playground and some basketball courts. But then you walk up the hill and you find the broken bottles and condom wrappers.
Granted, all of that fun stuff seems to be isolated to one area of the park but it's gross enough to be a turn off. This is also the only park in Charlotte where I've seen genuinely shady folks. Like, just standing there for over twenty minutes in a hoodie, rocking and bouncing and giving you the stinkeye because you're not who they're waiting for. Well a good afternoon to you too.
One plus besides the well-kept playground is that there were port-o-lets in the parking lot. I mean, there exists no alternate universe where I'd want to use them, but somebody might.
