Worst Customer Service Ever!
Cashier Laxsana refused to do my transaction because I had my mom's Costco card. Taken in my family has two cards with them for over 10 years, and for sure longer than the time she was employed there. A Costco card membership is usually one per family with a max of another supplementary card, like why would you have six separate accounts, if you have six family members? She was insisting that each individual in the household needs to pay for a separate membership. Meanwhile had the same exact last name verified by her, yet she refused to do the transaction. Costco is going to be losing one valuable customer who has been shopping there for years. I have used the same membership card at various locations, including that location with valid ID with out an issue for numerous years. Costco Markham needs to hire associates that are customer friendly and logical thinkers. I work in customer service too so I get the protocol it's non transferable but taking into consideration it's the same last name shouldn't have been an issue. You just didn't lose a sale, you lost an "executive member." Membership isn't free, so PAYING customers should be treated RIGHT. Definitely will not be shopping here again.
