| - We stayed here Thanksgiving Thursday and Friday nights. The past few times we have been to Vegas, we ended up staying close to Flamingo/Las Vegas Blvd. So, this time the Mrs. wanted to stay near Tropicana/Las Vegas Blvd and check out the casinos nearby. As I always write in my reviews, the Mrs. puts in a lot of effort into looking for cool things to do for Ian. NYNY having an arcade for kids, made this an attractive proposition.
Pros:
It was very easy to take the exit from the freeway onto Frank Sinatra Drive, and enter the parking structure of NYNY. I cannot believe that I did not have to drive on Las Vegas Blvd this trip. Easy walk to Aria, MGM, Excalibur etc.(+1)
A very busy arcade for kids/youngsters. There were hundreds of kids the night we went to entertain Ian. Roller Coaster is also cool. (+1)
Lot of variety in dining. Pastrami at a Deli, Tacos at Gonzalez, Steak at Gallagher's, different kind of cuisine at Nine Fine Irishmen, Shake Shack, Bruxie's, etc.
Cons:
No buffet. (-1)
Both the Pizza places had horrible tasting Pizzas. (-1)
I really enjoyed my stay here. I would not mind staying at NYNY again in the future.
