  • I would give them 6-7 stars if I could! This is a great place for pet owners who want the best for their pets, but may not have the money to pay hundreds of dollars for treatments. I am very grateful for this office, because I think that people have a lot to offer pets, but may not be able to afford vet bills. A lot of people don't even have health insurance for themselves! Some people are complaining that they didn't get enough attention - but the staff is probably not getting paid a whole lot, and you as a pet owner are not paying much! Overall, this office is providing a great service to a large amount of people in a short period of time. I took my 5 month old kitten there a few months ago to be neutered. I knew nothing about the process. My kittens were adopted at a very young age after being left at a shelter, and I knew I was taking a risk with them, but I fell in love. I don't make a lot of money, but I knew I had to take care of the fixing issue, as I took in a brother and sister who had started to exhibit rambunctious behavior. I decided to take care of the male first, thinking that it would be less expensive. When I arrived, the intake process was a little chaotic, but I think people forget that this is still a business. If they took an hour to help each pet owner, they would not make enough revenue to pay the bills and stay open. It wasn't so much the staff that made it chaotic - it was the fact that multiple pets were in the same area. This would probably be the case anywhere! I'm not sure which vet my cat saw, but she was amazing! During the consultation, I was expecting him to be crazy in a new environment with a new person, but he was surprisingly calm with her. She must truly love animals, and they can sense it. She advised me that he had an undescended testicle, and that his procedure may end up costing more - but she would not know for sure until she did exploratory surgery. She explained everything to me in depth, and assured me that nothing would be done without my approval, although she felt it unethical to only remove one testicle, and leave him able to breed. I appreciated both her honesty, and her willingness to keep me in the loop. He ended up needing the extra procedure, and the cost was higher than expected, but I was very happy with the results. As promised, she did call me for approval before it was performed. The staff educated me on everything possible, and sent me home with paperwork to answer any questions I might have. My little guy came home a little loopy, but he healed up very nicely, and has not shown any behaviors indicating that he had anything but the best treatment while in their care. I will be taking his sister in to be spayed in the future! Thank you to the vet and entire staff!
