  • On June 12, 2015, I met with salesman Ollie, who went out of his way to make sure I understood all of my options to be able to get a new car. I mistakenly believed going in that the advertisement for 0% APR for up to 75 months applied to all cars, and I had budgeted my monthly payment accordingly. I was disappointed to find out that the number of months at the 0% rate was based on the price of the vehicle, not all vehicles, and definitely not the price of vehicle I was considering. Ollie ran the numbers (purchase vs. lease) which convinced me that a lease would probably be more suitable for my specific situation. Being an older woman I had negative thoughts when hearing the word "lease". I remember years ago a large, often unattainable balloon payment was due at the end of the lease period, so I never considered leasing for myself. I have been assured that this is no longer the case, so I reluctantly agreed to go that route. 3 days have passed now and I am comfortable with my decision. For the first time in my 63 years I can drive a brand new car that's not a rental. I appreciate the fact that I actually got more features than I required in a car, and the price discounted enough to make it affordable. Antonio, a sales consultant, took the time to point out the features and show me how to use many of the bells & whistles included with my new car. Of course, I was overwhelmed and would never be able to remember all of it. Fortunately, the included HUGE 1-volume, "Encyclopedia of Hyundai" provides plenty of in-depth information, provided you can lift it without spraining your wrists. There are a lot of negative reviews for this dealership. Perhaps there should be different review areas for new vs. used car experiences. I just hope when I need service that I don't experience the same problems that other Yelpers have had. If what they're saying is true, (and I have no reason to doubt them), then please work on making all departments as kind and responsive as your sales department. Thank you Planet Hyundai for making the dream of a new car a reality for me, and please be there for me in the future when I'll need you the most, not just at the point of sale.
