This review is for the shuttle service between the airport and Rent-a-Car Center.
At the end of our three day visit to Las Vegas we returned our rental car to the rental car center. We walked out of the center with our luggage to catch the shuttle to the airport and an employee directed everyone exiting the building to a shuttle bus. She didn't offer any type of direction except to point.
When we arrived at the airport the shuttle driver informed us that we were at Terminal 1 and that we needed to go to Terminal 3. He said that this mistake happens "Four Thousand" times a day. We were required to walk through Terminal 1 to an elevator, take it to the ground level, walk through that part of the terminal, cross a several lane street, and wait at a Terminal 1 to Terminal 3 shuttle stop before finally reaching our destination at terminal 3.
I am a senior with mobility issues. I have two knee replacements, arthritis in my feet, hands, etc, spinal stenosis, and other heath issues. I don't need to be lugging my luggage all around the Las Vegas airport due to the incompetence of the management and employees. If this is happening "Four Thousand" times a day shame on you. You should at least be able to train your employees to point their finger in the right direction.
We returned to the Rent-a-Car Center two weeks ago. There are signs as you exit the rental center directing you to the buses to Terminals 1 & 3. Terminal 3 includes JetBlue that we usually fly. To catch the Terminal 3 bus, after you exit the rental center you have to walk across to the island where the Terminal 3 busses are located. On this trip there was a guide outside the rental center that pointed us in the right direction.
