  • I hesitate to give this place 3 stars based on my experience, but the atmosphere and service is getting me there. Food/drink wise, I would probably go for 2. I was there for my brother-in-law's surprise birthday party, and so we had a fairly large group (I think around 12 of us?) but they accomodated us with large table in the upstairs. Drinks came fairly quickly and we wait for the birthday boy - he arrives, surprise is a success, and we all order lunch before heading down to bowl. The food takes what feels like forever to come, but fair enough since we had a large party. However, while everything LOOKED phenomenal, the actual food was pretty brutal. I had the veggie burger which had been described as a lentil and chickpea patty - sounds good to me! Having been a veg for over ten years I've had my fair share of veggie burgers - and this ranks among the worst, ever. It essentially was as though someone mashed the lentils and chickpeas together, formed it into a patty shape, heated it in a microwave for a minute then stuck it on the burger bun. The moment I picked it up and took a bite the entire lukewarm patty but mushed apart. Imagine trying to eat a burger that is the consistency of mashed potatoes. It was ridiuclous and incredibly bland. The barbecue sauce and goat cheese were the only things that really saved the sandwich, I had a greek salad on the side that was pleasantly good. I stole some fries from my friend which were delicious, although she said the rest of her meal was less than impressive as well. I ended up hearing no one was all that happy with what they had, but hey, the bowling is still fun, the music is GREAT and you can watch all the baseball/hockey you want on the multiple TV's so it can't be all bad. I had also brought a cake that our server was super helpful with (she kept it chilled while we ate and provided me with plates/cutlery/cake slicer) and she even packed up the leftover cake in a to-go container and washed my cake platter for me! Definitely a good experience overall, but not somewhere to go looking for a decent meal.
