  • I love a good used bookstore and while the Bookshelf isn't the greatest for selection, I consider it a valued part of my hometown. While I'll admit it's often hard to find what you're looking for here, I can say that the volunteers are always really friendly and helpful. I wouldn't say it's the best if you're looking for a specific book, but it is great if you just want to do some browsing. The prices are really cheap, I don't think I've ever paid more than $3 for a book here and the proceeds go directly to Project Learn, which supports adult literacy efforts. I would recommend this bookshop if you enjoy browsing used books and can do a little digging.
