  • Bought all our groceries before checking in. We out everything in the fridge and went out to dinner. A few hours later I come back and the fridge is still like warm. The maintenance guy insists that its working but takes more time to cool down. I said the milk and eggs needed to be thrown out. After I insisted, he agreed to bring me another fridge. THe replacement was cold almost immediately. I still had to the so away the milk and eggs. Didn't want to take the chance. It doesn't end there. I put the kids in the bedroom to sleep and suddenly notice a strong cigarette odor coking from the vents. The same maintenance guy says they can spray air freshener. I told him it's not the smell as much as it is the second hand smoke is not healthy for a person, let alone kids. He said he would call the "m.o.d." Apparently acronym for manager on duty to contact me. I waited til almost 11pm before I decided to just go to sleep. We were all too tired from an all day affair of driving into Vegas. I write this review the first night of my stay at Tahiti village. Hoping things can only get better from here. If a manager is reading this, the smell in the bedroom is ridiculous(cigarette). My kids ahve to smell this all night. Sucks. Mod? Where are you and why haven't you contacted us?!?!
