This is my second time visiting this place on a Saturday night. That being said, my service tonight was better than my first visit. Oh what a difference an hour makes. There are only 2 servers for this place on a Saturday night and they are busy, like crazy busy. The busyness is understandable given that the food here is amazing.
I was greeted and seated promptly. I was given water and 6 little side dishes to snack on while waiting on my meal, they consisted of an apple salad, 2 types of kimchi, bean sprouts, pickled daikon radish, seaweed paper and a spicy potato dish. I ordered a number 21 Galbi which is served on a large platter with sliced onions underneath. First off, all the little sides were filled with flavor and each one different in taste and texture. The galbi was marinated and flame grilled perfectly. Not one piece came out burnt. Hands down, absolutely delicious. I also tried their Bohae which is a Korean black raspberry wine. It was a little too sweet for my everyday taste but it went with my meal perfectly.
I would say that compared to places that allow you to cook at the table this place is better. The chefs in the kitchen know what they're doing!
